Almost 10:30--trying hard to stay awake! I am pretty sleepy! We had some treats tonight--we all made dinner together, some great eggrolls-crab wonton-chicken satay and bakerellas cake pops!
The cake pops are super easy--make whatever kind of cake, then after it cools crumble it, mix it with a container of frosting and then dip it in chocolate. She used chocolate melts but we used milk chocolate and peanut butter. We learned a lesson about chocolate melting--melting in the microwave is just not good! We went back to a good old double boiler and it was much better!
We have spent the evening watching movies--Rosie has been crafting, Tim has been cleaning his bikes, Noah is programming his calculator I have been working on the first page of my art journal for next year--I like that we can all sit in the same room, visit and still work on our projects...oh and our darling Bucky boy is sleeping with his little head resting on my leg...sweet puppy!
